At the Edge(s) of Sanity

How do you go places?

In living the lives of others, do we forget that they started from us, from our lives too in a different existence, in a past life.

What I reflect today is the mistakes I made in the past 5 years, the decisions I did not make, the paths I did not take and the friends I did not make. But I know I took the right path being here today, for better or for worst, this is where I want to be. Just need to move further and clear a few more hurdles before the reflection reflects a new destiny.

Life, we think we know it, but we don't. the roads, we think we know it but we don't, the heavens we think we know it but we don't, the others we think we know them but we don't, what we know is that the future is certain. Destiny is everything.

What has religion given me, what has religion caused me to be. What has religion turned into, is a shield, a protection where rapists and good Samaritans gather to be one, they who are right and they who are wrong is the same in religion, no sin is too great compared to be preaching a believe that is not mine to you and not yours to me. What I want is a life, to live. Destiny is certain, not religious futures.

What I think of power, and war. One causes and one destroys. There is no creation here. There is no balance, there is only destruction. When you see death, you see yourself and your family, when you see love you see the other person, the other couple. This is enough to tell that nothing is as what you perceive. It is just reflections of what might happen and what happened. Power, war, life, death and love. The new elements of life, no religion. Destiny is a mirror.

There is no edge of insanity, there is only the edge of sanity, before you fall into insanity.

The lives of others is a challenge. Its what they don't want to be, that is us, and what we want to be that is them. This is also a circle of life, the karma of existence.

What spirit walks the valleys of Valhalla, they are dead there, and we are dead here on earth. What lives is our desire. What keeps us alive is destiny. Where it ends, is when it ends. And time never ends, thus there is no end.

What is oppression by the government? We are the government. We are the oppressors of ourselves. We live because we want to be challenged, but we don't challenge back the system. We must change the system that we created. Destiny if for change.

The ones who has not seen a revolution, has not faced death in the eyes. They have not sacrificed anything. They are just protesters with a digital pen. They write but are not willing to die.

Whops Siva you made me think too much on this ...

First of all we need to understand is that living the lives of others is something not desirable ... As u said in living the life of someone else we forget our own existence and what's a life when I seldom see myself living it the way I want ... the life that is mine and not others (but reads life that is but mine)..

It also bears to me the crux of expectation and that is something t like a constant endeavor on my part to see thru new lights and new prisms ...

I would love to know what u were thinking thru these lines ... what I wrote is what I am taking away from these lines ....

and since u have tagged it as destiny .. ur lines remind me of something tht I wrote some time back and with ur due permission would like to quote it

"Who knows what holds, who holds and for what
The clodhopper perambulates the dim lit lanes
And breeds a yeoman far more succinct
Than the prig on his way to a school
Destiny.. that’s not life"

And u know I love the strokes of ur pen :)

excellent as ever. the answer to this and destiny is updated in the post bro. :)

lives of others, we cant determine the nuances of what it takes, why it happens. but one for sure is that we do live the lives of others when we are born.

again...the lives of others are the reflection of us. :)

expectation is everything.

luvd dis line, perfect!

dis 1,
'The ones who has not seen a revolution, has not faced death in the eyes. They have not sacrificed anything.'

tell me who has really
sacrificed anythng at all.
u giv up somthng u want for somthng u want more.
its just a choice made & i wldnt say der s any sacrifice / nobility involved.
lemme giv u a vry simple eg , suppose u hv gt 2 apples , 1 small & de oter big & u hv 2 share it wit a frnd wh luvs apple.
den u wld giv de bigger 1 2 ur frnd , dat aint sacrifice. u care more 4 his happiness dan 4 de pleasure de apple givs u .
u do it , not coz dis makes him happy , but coz making him happy makes U HAPPY .

First Contact, Remixed

On the last Thursday of the year, about half past 10 local time, they landed in the garden of the White House. The security never knew what hit them, in no time all the men in blue and black and whatever colour they’re in were rolling on the ground laughing. Apparently the aliens hit them with laughing gas. Good, now we know they have some sense of humour and wont bomb us…hemmm…senseless. Another half an hour went past, the president was hiding under his table, the secret service nowhere in sight. Thinking of the worst, he reached for his cell phone and dialled 911 with his trembling fingers. So much for him, the aliens UFO, which funnily enough is shaped like a saucer, lighted up like a Las Vegas casino, sans neon signboard. A door opened up and from it rolled down a weird looking robot with a huge plasma screen TV for its head. Words fail to describe alien technology, literally, so I’m using earth analogy. Oh, and by the way, I am the dude, who saw it all.

The president peering from …
