Time Minus Zero

The time - 8:15 a.m., August 6th, 1945 is an eternal moment for Hiroshima and the World.

What men may come

What day may dawn
what sun may rise
what life may come
what face may shine
what life may find
what love may bond
what child may born
what dream may come

what year may come
what life may want
what soul may find
what people may sin
what bomb may drop
what life may die
what men may come
what men may kill

i felt sad when i read
"what men may come

insn't it the ironical ... that human race, though it claims to be the most advanced and skilled species on earth, is the only one who kills their own kind for their own mean purpose ... purpose which are man made and not nature defined

i could feel wht u wrote ... beautiful word

Very thoughtful.

The notion that civilians were sacrificed to save enlisted men is very troubling.

I watch the films made for American school kids in the 50s that show them how to 'Duck & Cover' under their desks in case of a Nuclear attack. How assinine is that? What a charade.

The advent of the Atomic Weapon changed humanity overnight and we must never forget how horrible and STUPID it is to keep killing each other. What if the USA wasted 55 trillion dollars on improving the lives of it's citizens instead of lining the pockets of a few Corporations?

First Contact, Remixed

On the last Thursday of the year, about half past 10 local time, they landed in the garden of the White House. The security never knew what hit them, in no time all the men in blue and black and whatever colour they’re in were rolling on the ground laughing. Apparently the aliens hit them with laughing gas. Good, now we know they have some sense of humour and wont bomb us…hemmm…senseless. Another half an hour went past, the president was hiding under his table, the secret service nowhere in sight. Thinking of the worst, he reached for his cell phone and dialled 911 with his trembling fingers. So much for him, the aliens UFO, which funnily enough is shaped like a saucer, lighted up like a Las Vegas casino, sans neon signboard. A door opened up and from it rolled down a weird looking robot with a huge plasma screen TV for its head. Words fail to describe alien technology, literally, so I’m using earth analogy. Oh, and by the way, I am the dude, who saw it all.

for, its during the rainy seasons
when we sit admiring
the cool breeze and wandering droplets
we realize we are admiring the beauty of loneliness
from afar, of you and me
