April Tears. Revisited.

April Tears

miles away in the northern land
once in April the sun goes down
under one grey roof a house grand
silent rooms with six doors brown

one brown door beautifully old
stood there for years of twenty
behind it on a bed lazily cold
a manic mind between dream and reality

this reality unable to hold its tears
from it floated images and noise
in it stood souls and devilish seers
with many claws and immortal voices

among the sacrilege and heartbreak
rising from a rubble of sorrow
unwillingly waiting for daybreak
my soul crippled and insanity grow

time creeps slowly past
stealing hours of daylight not coming
switching between love near and lost
unable to hold the many hands drowning

watching this my eyes cried of tyranny
I scribbled to God an invisible letter
and in unconscious wishes among many
asking him to save my love my brothers

[-] First published a year ago. It reminds me of so many things lacking in my life, and everyone else. There is so much sorrow and pain that we are unable to resolve, even if we can hide it. We want to do so many things, but we 're unable to understand the truth and believe the rationale. There are so many people we want to save, we want to guide along the path, but we are helpless.

Barefoot Summer; A Passing

The progenitor of online activism in Malaysia and veteran journalist, MGG Pillai has passed away today. Described as one of the greatest social activist in the region, he also covered the Vietnam war as a war correspondent. His passing is indeed a great loss to a country and its people who are just waking up to face the realities of corruption and discrimination that lay hidden for so long. He was a brave soldier in the forefront of the battle against injustice and represented the voice of everyone. It will be a great task to fill his shoes, let alone his legacy for the new-age Malaysian activists, but we will march ahead.

There is no requiem for a legacy, only for a passing soul. Rest in Peace Sir.

NEW YORK - A teen novel containing admittedly borrowed material has been pulled from the market. Author Kaavya Viswanathan, a Harvard University sophomore, had acknowledged that numerous passages in "How Opal Mehta Got Kissed, Got Wild and Got a Life" were lifted from another writer. A House for Mr.Ghost; Part 9: Requiem for a…

A chat with my mentor revealed some ideal’s of our lives that constricts the direction and views of the field of science. We tend to focus on the individual trees that we fail to comprehend the forest at large. Strange enough, a simple principle such as this have the command to reenergize the faculties of our thinking, and at the same time, influence positively our lives, but again it is not practical to be followed. We simply can’t do everything at the same time or even during our whole lifetime.

So what does science mean to us all. Science is not a tool, but it is a worldview. We are here because of science and we did not create science. Life is the tool created to decipher that worldview. How we postulate, experiment, deduce, communicate and finally relate the structures of this universe builds our knowledge and increases the information flow. In a typical sampling of events or discoveries, a group of people will play roles to document science and give it a record that would populate the universe forever. And now the lives of the observers and scientist doesn’t matter because life itself being a tool, it can be replaced by better tools. We are merely meandering tools in an edgeless universe with a singular purpose.

Requiem for a life means that we must strive to better equip ourselves with the needs of the new age and new generation. We must rebuild our tools, and gather the forces and people. What we are doing now is foraging the forest for trees that stand either at the edge, or we delve deep to find the single ones. Often during this inquiry we dismiss the relation of the system or tapestry that builds the whole existence. This unique idea can be applied to any field that we work in today. Be it in school, office, or a laboratory, if we keep everything in perspective of the objective, building from the smallest to the largest, any problem and goal can be solved.

Death is a gift from time to everything that exists in this universe. Depending on personal beliefs, death has different meanings to different people. Life being a journey is accompanied closely by death as the continuation of life. How we construct death and relate it to our individual lives gives the exact meaning of death. And from another perspective, how death relates to the people around the world and us in general constructs the tenets of modern day cultural and religious beliefs.

A requiem to a death asks us how to handle death. How do we relate to death and how we communicate death in the interconnected world where everyone is aware of each other and also try hard to scan through life to find meanings. Death gives us a reason to be alive, a reason to learn and a purpose for us. Knowing death is inevitable as life itself is, we have two forces in equilibrium that carries us forward each day to achieve our goals.

A sad loss of life.

Read about it here;[JusticeProtest1];[Farewell];[Justice3].

On April 20th, 2006, an Indian student, Prashant Anchalia fell to his death at the University of Yereven, Armenia. Due to severe negligence in the part of Armenian medical authorities and the university itself, the still conscious student passed away.

The Indians students of University of Armenia is requesting help in highlighting the issue and addressing possible solutions to prevent such incident in the future. I request anyone who has the slightest concern towards the great injustice done, to address this issue in your blogs and website and please spread the word to make sure the death of Prashant doesn't go unnoticed.

The core of the issue lies in the fact that millions of foreign students around the world does not have proper protection by the laws of the countries they study in. Basically, they are all considered foreigners with the same rules and regulation as workers who migrate. And this death is not the first and it will not be the last unless we act today. Please take steps to convey your support to the students in Yereven and also lets take action today ensure that the lives of the millions are not in danger.

There are many horror stories from universities around the world, particularly from third world country universities of harassment, rapes and murder of foreign students whose truth remain hidden in the dustbins of politicians. The home countries protecting their economic and political interests often turn a deaf ear towards such incidents and the students themselves who try to raise a concern are subjected to political harassment. As we speak and convey this issue, there are still students in countries like Russia and Ukraine who are beaten up and robbed.

Students should and must have special rights in any country. Students are in the forefront of the next generation and carry the dreams and hopes of parents and their home country. As much as we strive for the freedom of internet and human rights, we must also stand up to speak of the rights of students of all age. Beyond borders, colors and religion, the same tragedy can happen to anyone.

Understanding the pain and struggles of these students who take to the streets to fight for justice, and understanding the pain that the parents of Prashant is going through, lets come together and voice out for justice. There are several organizations that you can contact to convey your feelings and highlight the issue. Send a message to the International Secretariat of Amnesty International;[VoiceOut], the Human Rights Watch;[HRW] and United Nations;[UN].

If everyone thinks that students around the world, be it at their home countries or foreign students should have their own human rights watch, declaration and justice, then let us gather our might and voices to fight for our fellow friends. If anyone wants to start a blog, website for the truth to be heard, and justice to prevail do let us know. Lets speak for peace together.

Everyone should know of their rights as the citizen of earth;United Nations Human Rights Charter.

Rest in Peace Prashant Anchalia.
May God bless the souls who left early on an uncharted journey.
Your voices and life will be redeemed.

You have a big idea of how to world could be, and you'll sacrifice almost anything to work towards this dream.

In love, you can easily see the beauty in someone else. And you never cling too tightly.

You are capable of great love, but it's hard for you to focus your love on one person or relationship.
You have a lot of outward focus, and you tend to blame the world for your failures.
You are often disappointed by the realities of life - it's hard for you to accept the shortcomings of the world.

'Rafa'lution; Sweet Victory

Rafa's Red army continued to march ahead into the Finals of this season's FA cup after a deserved victory over Chelsea. On a night that promised to be one of those famous Liverpool nights, in the Theater of Dreams, everything worked well for Liverpool as they held the would be League Champions and well funded Chelsea to a 2-1 scoreline.

John Arne Riise produced a sterling display to sink his trademark 'Anfield Express' volley to convert a freekick into a goal as the helpless Cudicini could only watch. The second goal came from the always reliable Luis Garcia reminiscent of the famous goal that struck Chelsea out of the Champions League Semi's Last season. Chelsea's consolation came from a confusion infront of the Reds goal when Didier Drogba headed in the goal. The Red's will face Hammers on the 13th of May for the finals of the oldest football cup competition in the world.

As usual Jose 'Moan'a-rinho in his usual stupid best did not shake hands with Rafa after the game and proceeded to claim that the best team did not win the game. Senor Jose, maybe you can build a real team when there is less money and prove to everyone that you have a decent team rather that talking crap. If my predictions are right, the self confessed Special One wont be long at Chelsea, maybe for a season more before he heads home. Adeus Senor.

Hail Liverpool, the Kings of Europe.

An Old School, a Rain Story, a Secretaries Week and Anna Black

An Old School

Was surfing friendster when I found a group for my old school. I realised most of the pre-war schools like mine had Latin motto's. Its kind of like a colonial relic, they were trying to motivate the students to excel. My school motto was 'Finis Coronat Opus' which means Hardwork is the Pathway to Success or something like that. There was even a stairway to nowhere in the middle of the school which I suspect is not there anymore.
Being one of the top schools in the country, strangely enough, all the evil masterminds studied there too. I prefer to say, we were all evil geniuses bend on taking over the world. And as history goes, like every other school in the world, most of us are not in touch anymore. Many are scattered around the world, not anymore in the taking over the world business, but rather finding a direction in life. It is indeed interesting to view this institution called schools as a place where we build the early part of our lives, just to end it abruptly to move on into a different direction. Maybe it's time it needs to be redirected, made more relevant to this century. So did your school have a motto? Please do share.

A Rain Story

Somewhere in this country, at a traffic light, few days ago, after work on the way home, someone said to me" Look at the sky, I think it's going to rain..." And the rest is a wet wet history. I don't know whether to like rain or just keep on cursing everyday, but why does it rain at exactly the time when we go to work or go home from work. It was same at school, at university, when we want to go somewhere important, you get the point. Do you think rain has some form of consciousness, or is it we're simply not prepared to face nature?

A secretaries Week

It's secretaries week (next) week, and its supposed to be celebrated on the last full week of April. Secretaries day itself will be on April the 26th. (But then why is everyone celebrating it since last week?). I wish all secretaries out there a Happy Secretaries Week and what would the world be without you guys. I can see all the bosses killing themselves, the guys having no one to flirt with and the printers running out of paper and dying a slow death, and the worst of all, the contract staff not getting their salaries, no one to call and ask for emergency leave...We love you guys!
Found out from this site;[IAAP] that secretaries Week has been renamed to Administrative Professional's Week.

There’s a hole in my soul…

There are certain things and moments in life that haunts us forever, leaving us begging for mercy. Human emotion and feelings are not mysterious but exposed like an open book. Everyone has access to everyone else’s lives and can damage it forever sometimes. But under this seemingly transparent self, lays the few person or souls who appreciate life and friends to the extent that they will die for it.

People often told me that I couldn’t seem to make good friends. I don’t have the judgment capability to choose or pick the best. My idealistic logic’s notwithstanding, I fail miserably in order to get what I want. Everyone wants to live a utopian adventure, seeing that everyone else have friends whom in their mirror self, their outer skin seems to be the ideal mates in life. I realized painfully a few times that I don’t have them, and I fear I won’t have them forever.

I believe life is a journey and I follow that simple principle. But life alone is not what we live for because life is inevitable. What we live for are relations. How we deal with fate and destiny and to make fate and destiny work for us, we need people around us. Family is a part of life, they a born with us, but when we grow to have a soul, friends are part of us. We need them, in any situation and moment happy or sad to ensure and to remind us that we are alive.

Not wanting to hide anything, and not wanting to blame anyone else, I blame myself for the seemingly harmless moments that conspired to kill my soul. I’ve always had this fear inside me that I will loose everything. In everything I do, everything I take part, I always have this small spark of fear inside me that tells me everything will go wrong. Forgive me for having that strange capability to make the most out of negative things, but what I always wanted is to be loved and to love. There is nothing inside me that’s sinister to see someone else suffer. No matter how angry I am, deep inside I never want to let go. I appreciate friendship in every sense. If there are people who always say’s they would sacrifice for friends, then I can assure anytime that I am ready to do that. I can go the distance and endure that emotional pain to make sure I am there for them.

But at the same time, why are they not here for me. I'm not generalising but why is it that when I really need them, when I really need something, everyone seems to be hiding. I have done everything I can, and still why they must misunderstand me. What did I do wrong to beget such a reply even when they know I can’t survive it?

There are reasons, and decisions to be told and made. There is also communication that is important to convey those elements. Why do we always seem to be taking the easy way out by being silent or making selfish decisions? It’s not that I won’t understand, and if they must know, the emotions I show are because I need them. There could be a grand reason for everything, maybe by delaying something, or by pausing a moment in life, we may avert something much more painful. All I wanted is for them to hear me out. I never stood in front of them to stop them from their fates, but at the same time, give me some room to be myself. I am human, and I do feel the world. And I can assure that I sacrificed a lot of my life to make everyone else happy.

Since the blame is on me (and yet not wanting to satisfy anyone who is there solely to take advantage on this situation), give me a moment to make my decision. I never experimented on this, even knowing that it would satisfy many and also heal myself. Because I am the wrong guy here, so let me say sorry and at the same time let me go away. Let me be alone, let me experience life alone. Let me not be the one that’s a spoilsport, and let me not be the one stopping anyone from living life. I know this is the easy way out, but it’s not easy to sit down and talk since the wound among the many scars in my soul may overwhelm me at any moment.

I want my life back; I don’t want this sick injustice that life keeps on throwing at me to stop me from achieving what I want. So let me give you the joy of victory, this silent message that would gratify you and absolve me. I always made myself clear, I know some of you shared my passion, and I know some who went through the pain with me. But let me tell you, outside the institution, beyond the biased skin that we give that great ‘culture’ we call friendship, it is still sacred. It is sacred because some of us believe that there are moments where our life and our family is no match for the lives of friends. That’s where I went and I lived for so many years. But to what avail is all this if they cant spend a second to give me a hand. And why let me tell all this here when it could have been done or ended in a second when the time permitted it then. Am I still the wrong guy now. Think for a moment what it would have done if someone took the blame then. It just went by because everyone was egoistic enough to keep his or her agenda.

(And no, I’m not stopping from blogging; I find pleasure and friendship in communicating with faceless people because there is honesty where people would be surprised if we say we can understand emotion. That’s the Internet. The formless hand that can hold you and give you life, my own spirit won’t let me to stop blogging).

All said, I know I gave in so many times. Gave in to let people treat me like rubbish because they know I needed the elixir called friendship. If there is spirit in them, then they would not have waited to read this. Time is same for everyone, but don’t ask why it did not stop for you and me. Someone should have realized but all I found is that everyone likes to be silent, to think that things would heal in time. I was there time and time again to ask for forgiveness, but none of them did the same. So this time, I won’t give a second thought. Let there be times when we meet and walk past, but there won’t be a moment that I will stop to say a word. If there is a next life, then maybe there will be another chance. I think I’m hurt enough, and don’t force me to give more than I can.

All I want to say is, for a moment, change the attitudes and change the character to accommodate others. You will find a new life breeding inside you that would deepen you, and make you love life more. Those are the magical moments in friendship. We went through it since everyone must have had those nights where we slept smiling and had those days where we cried silent tears in the dark because of moments that made us happy beyond anything. Hope they know that I write this from my heart and it’s still painful to write this and remember that I gave everything. Everything.

Yuri's Night + World Space Party / El Bulli / Tony Bourdain

Yuri's Night + World Space Party

Yuri's Night | World Space Party | April 12

Looks like the World Space Party ended without anyone knowing there was one. How did this one get out of my radar. Yuri's night and the World Space Party was held yesterday (April 12) to celebrate the 45th year anniversary of Yuri Gagarin's space flight and 25th anniversary of the first Space Shuttle flight.

El Bulli

El Bulli, the 3 star restaurant of the enigmatic Ferran Adria is once again the best restaurant in the world. Of course, none of us can imagine dining there as it's fully booked forever and is only open 6 months in a year. Having explored both the science and art of food and eating, Ferran Adria is one of the best chef's in the world. I did blog about Ferran once, after watching the Tony Bourdain feature on Adria's famous Synthesis of the Arts menu;[FoodInfinitum]

[+] El Bulli

Tony Bourdain

Tony Bourdain, the reknowned celebrity chef is currently in his new Travel Channel program called;[No Reservation]. Last Saturday the series featured Tony's visit to Kuala Lumpur. I think he's the only realistic down to earth 'traveler' currently with the Travel Channel. The KL program's itself was well done, portraying a raw take on Malaysian culture and food. The first part of the program's featured Tony venturing to the hawkers stalls of Kampung Baru with Malaysia's very own celebrity chef - Chef Wan. Luckily Chef Wan is in for not more that 10 minutes, didn't want him spoiling the fun. Next, I'm proud to say, Tony went to Batu Caves. Yes, our very own Batu Caves, the popular Murugan Temple in the cave, and now called the 7th house of Lord Muruga. But to my horror, after his visit, still looking majestic in a red pottu and thirunur, he went to a hawker stall and gulped down a bowl of *gasp* Cow penis soup. This could be one of those universally weird moments, so freaking dumb and of course, the next time you see something called 'Sup Torpedo' don't even go near the place. So the story ends here...coz I'm still dumbfounded by the whole thing. But who could blame him, after all, he's a traveler and it's his job to sample the world. Sigh.

What on Earth! Part 2 [Answers]

Here are the answers to the WOE II Quiz;

[1] Is the Tiananmen Square where a bloody pro-democracy protest took place in 1989. The protest turned into a massacre by the Chinese Communist government and more that 800 people are estimated to be killed. The following image is one of the famous images from the crackdown that followed the rally;

[2] This is the satellite image of my apartment! :p

[3] The city of Miami! The islands that appear in the images can normally be seen during CSI: Miami and other movies shot in Miami.

[4] Yes the city is Berlin where the famous Berlin Wall stood. After the fall of the wall in 1989, the two Germans were unified in 1990. The image shows the newly constructed Berlin train station to be opened before the World Cup Finals.

[5] This is Anfield, the home stadium of the Liverpool Football Club. And am not kidding in saying this is one of the greatest football club in the world and the best from England because, Liverpool has won more league titles than any other English club in existence and more champion league titles than any other team in England.

[6] This is the satellite image of CERN, The European Organization for Nuclear Research. Currently it hosts the largest physics experiment in the world, which is the LHC (to be completed in 2007) and is situated near Geneva. The particle physics ring or collider ring itself runs bellow both Switzerland and France.

[7] Mount Everest. This is actually a tilted image from Google Earth, somehow the terrain image is not very clear.

I can understand very clearly. Few years back, one of my close friend's dad had a bad road accident. He was hit by a car. He was taken from one hospital to another because everyone said its police case and until police decides something, they can't risk to get involved. After 2-3 hours, he died due to excessive bleeding. If proper action was taken at time, he could have been saved.
This happened in India.

Brother, ignorance is cheap. It doesn't belong to the country u live in. It is everywhere because we prefer to turn blind and live in dreams which are safer. You are right that small steps are needed to make it huge.

You helped me in deciding something. Thanks :)

This type of problem my uncle also face. My uncle was suffering in fever for half –month. We have also admitted him in a private hospital, the hospital has checked the blood and said it can be malaria fever, even after a week also the fever dint go, so we decided to take to home and see in another hospital. After discharge him from hospital, he gone to unconscious and suddenly we take him to hospital, they admit him in ICU and take scan and blood test, and they found that he was suffering form Brain fever. The hospital where he was for a week, was not gave him proper treatment. Because of there contempt he was died. The doctors can’t do any thing in the final stage.

Every one should take Health insurance policy or loan, to take care of them. We donÂ’t know when and what will happen to us, so we should be ready take care us. All life are life, we cant separate this is rich life, this is poor life. The doctors should realize this. This post inspired me to write some information about the medicines. Hope to blog, if I get any information about the disease and medicines or first aid.

If it makes u feel betta bro, here some to share. A few years back, A friend (aheam.."friend" ) of mine got admitted to ** medical centre for severe migraines. An MRI was ran and discovered that there were several tumor growths in her brain and many more along her nervous system. This condition is referred to a neurofibromatosis. Its a mutation of a gene. Clearly, a neuro related problem.
Well..trustingly, We admitted her into surgery in ** medical centre, and what did we end up with? Partial facial paralysis and leakage of cerebrospinal fluid.
the removal of the acoustic neuroma cost her balance. But that is to be expected in such a procedure. Mind you, these procedures were carried out by the hospital's HEAD NEUROSURGEON. Theyre lucky we're not suing. Initially we planned on it, but after realizing that it brought us nothing, we withdrew our lawsuit.
So this just goes to show the incompetence of many Doctors. I am not generalizing, but justifying. The misfit that caused my friend these damages bears no responsibility towards his actions.
Its truly something to be ashamed of. We are currently resorting to an overseas medical institution to help us with the correction procedure.

Barefoot Summer

Have you ever had one of those weekends that you wish never happened, or you wanted to avoid because it's too heartbreaking. I was out yesterday to visit a relative at a hospital. Sometimes life decides to throw one of those surprises at you that you cant quite digest. So I went there and found out that the person was in the ICU (intensive care unit). When I talked to his father, the details scared me. I went in to look at him. He's laying there unconscious for more than a week and the doctors took out his cranial cap to ease the brain inflammation. This is not even half the story.

The irony of the whole thing is that, he banged his head on the seat belt holder on the side of the car while trying to avoid an accident. And worst still, he was conscious and even walked to the hospital emergency room. It took them a good 13 hours to transfer him to a hospital with a neurologist when they found out his head swelled up. He lost consciousness when he arrived at the emergency ward. The 'state' hospital did not have a proper brain doctor, did not scan the head because obviously they are careless, and internal injuries doesn't show up until much later. Now I'm left wondering if the main government hospital's even has MRI machines since I cant find any info on the net. And where did the 5 billion they spend on new equipments and hospitals went if the people cannot get proper treatment. And why is it every time something serious happens, we have to end up at private hospitals with hotel charges rather than setting out to treat patients at the first place. (I did send an email to the newspaper, let see what happens.)

I just want to know whether there is a policy anywhere in the world, where a person who is involved in an accident get a full checkup which includes the USD 200 MRI scan or do they wait until people are pretty much screwed up before firing up the damn machines. Now I feel really dumb after all those times I bragged about mechanized medical treatments and stuff. In one hand we do need doctors, how sick and 'lawyer' like they have become is the second matter. In the other hand, we need equipments to help the doctor do their job. But how does the administration handle doctors and equipments while not neglecting swift treatment on patients. Do we need an administration in the first place who obviously doesn't know anything about medicine because basically they're BA graduates?

The second part of my Sunday trip took me to a 'nerve research center' which apparently is the name for the asylum at the city hospital. Have you ever had someone that everyone spend their whole damn life telling NOT to do something and he still does it and end up all...Screwed up. Yes big time screwed up. So it was a sad visit, seeing him there and then it was sadder still to see a lot of young people who lost their minds. No pun intended.

Is it the society who doesn't give enough love to people, or is it people taking advantage of the situation and ending up overwhelmed by life (or is it a fact that 1 in every 3 of my countrymen have mental problems). Like a scene from the movies, the place is full of mentally challenged people, all lost in their causes and thoughts. Fascination mixed with pity and fear keep surfacing in my mind like some psychedelic magic show. Another fact for me to remind was that the care provided for these people was lacking seriously. The cleanliness of the place, the way food is given and the general treatment of the people. There were no clear segregation of the patients, according to the degree of illness, there is no doctor in-charge at any given time, the attendants did not give a damn, and the worst of all, the mixing of patients in police custody with the 'normal' mental patients. Come on, some of them are faking it, some of them just cant stay in the slammer so they get crazy, but what chance do they have being cuffed to their beds, while you have other aimless angry patients simply walking around.

I wont go further, but here's the deal. Spending any amount of time pointing out mistakes wont change anything. And trying to change something while being outside the system wont be easy. And by saying outside the system, I mean you, me and the patients included. The system is like the politicians. Its the administrations mistake in not planning for a 'medical mitigation' scenario. An easy example would be the bird flue case. We are all caught naked. So, when the government decides to spend billions of dollars to improve healthcare, that means billions of dollars for the vendors to supply healthcare and not a percentage of educating people outside the system. So the power is in our hands, we choose where to seek treatment and at the same time ensure that we get the same quality all the time. Sounds easy? Well not at all, by going to the private hospitals, another problem crop up. The health insurance, health care plan or any scheme that can provide the most during emergency must be checked into too. That means, having a policy is not enough, you must make sure that the policy covers every part of your organs. It's that serious. You don't want the hospital to say that the policy doesn't cover for your liver transplant or you have find the donor or such. Basically, when doing an operation you are covering the education of the surgeons children or pay his monthly BMW loans. Not to say they don't deserve it, but to say that the system, yet again, made them the greedy monsters they are.

Who has the rights to choose which patient is important. This is not new, but in general, if a beggar walks into an emergency room with a broken foot, he's probably going to die there. Forget about euthanasia, mass murder happens in all countries. The beggar is uneducated, he's better off dead. But what about a politicians brain dead son, treated with some machine, which apparently the hospital only has two. The other is broken. There is a long line of about hundred people needing the machine too. Or, how do you explain specialists who only makes Monday visits to hospitals because his clinic has regular 'customers'. Wait, the regular customers are you and me. It's a sick circle.

No one deserves to be dead, crippled or crazy. Either we made ourselves to be 'dead' or it was caused by someone else. But don't you think we can provide more, and have the final say in things. Do something now, don't throw away the Sunday paper medical references. When we overwhelm the system with the naked truth, then the change is bound to happen. Sadly we live in a society where change comes with a million dollar poster campaign and buffet dinners. And yes, paying the monthly car loans for hospital directors. You know what, somehow now I'm happy that there are less Indian hospital directors in this country. The blood is in someone else's hand nowadays. Everytime someone dies in the hospital, everyone goes for a vacation. The Indian dudes are left to answer the papers.

Your life is yours. So is everyone else's. If you cant face the everyday traffic, then don't venture beyond your means. In every aspect. This country has one of the highest road mortality in the world. So we don't have guns, but we have killer cars. Next, make sure, for any kind of accident, try to get the maximum amount of treatment or atleast diagnosis in the shortest time possible. Get that scan done even if they say the machine is not ready or the photographic plates has run out or anything. Make noise. Don't listen to the doctor when he says it will take time to heal. Yes it does, but doctors are supposed to make it faster and safer. Once you're in a medical situation, DON'T ever eat any medicine or any injection that the attendants administer unless the doctor says so. And ask why is it given. Often, but not in all cases, and I don't have proof of this, the injections are given to make the journey 'home' faster. Less work for government doctors, because they're underpaid and a bunch of sorry ass fu***ers who went to medical school to buy a BMW. Not in general this is.

After all this, after yesterday, I am scared of life. More now because we are fragile and powerless. We're helpless the moment we are crippled. And because there is a clear line of knowledge in medicine between people inside and outside the system. Basically all we know is to take aspirin when we have an headache. So the things to address is knowledge but not everyone can become a doctor. Not everyone who wants to become one ever becomes one and everyone else becomes one. Its the case of the best presidents are either driving cabs or cutting hair. Simply put, do you want a doctor who has aspirations of being a millionaire versus a doctor who cares. The core idea is that every one of us needs to get information on what to do during emergency and at all times be prepared. So if you have any information pertaining conditions, medicines do blog about it. Now we have a tool for communication. Sometimes during emergency we cant discern every possibility because of the situation. Let's see a change, and atleast the next guy wont be so helpless. Let's give hope to the people.

[-] Somehow, I think this will turn into another series. I just hope my blog wont become a mega-serial.
[-] As of today, the relative in ICU is still recovering, the doctors are waiting for his brain inflammation to subside. On when he can regain consciousness is not known, but there is hope that it is not a permanent damage.
[-] I 'want' to believe that healthcare is better in other countries, but the limit is that because we are humans we make mistakes. Doctors can claim that too. So does the drunk driver, the road bully and everyone else. If changes come in small steps, I hope I've taken one, and you the readers have taken one too.

Anyone who followed the case would have known how cheap human rights for colored people have become in this country. They're dangling dead bodies to mock us. Truth will prevail one day. God bless.

Miracle Man, II

stood a man,
with all his dignity,

he was a cultured man,
a 20th century man,
brave and bold,

he lived to see,
war and peace,
men killing each other,

he lived to see,
freedom won in pain,
and forever hatred among men,

he walked miles,
to forget his past,
to erase the memories of blood.

the miracle men,
they worked and slaved,
they fought and cried,

they buried,
another son,
another brother,
another father,

the miracle man,
erased his memories,

but history,
remembers him.

Miracle Man, I

here lie a man,
who discovered the meaning of life,
who solved all the problems in his life,
who fed the hungry and the sick,
who loved with all his heart,
who touched and cared for the poor,
who lived every second of his life,

here lie a man,
who does not exist.

here we bury,
a prodigal man,
so one day,
we may not become him.

[2] If there's like two farewell parties a week at your company, do you start to worry?

[3] Okay, since now I'm not the new guy anymore, I feel neglected. What do I do?

[4] What do you do to/ with married people who flirt and talk dirty in the office?

[5] Is there a reason why I don't receive any calls on my desk phone?

[6] How long can someone last eating only twiggies for their lunch?

[7] Do you feel happy that it's Friday or do you worry because in two days time, you have to come back to work?

Thank you very much. Have a nice weekend.

Never Blunt...

Tomorrow comes. Sorrow becomes his soul mate.
The damage is done. The prodigal son is too late.
Old doors are closed but he's always open,
To relive time in his mind.
Oh Billy.
[+] Excerpts from the song Billy from James Blunt's 'Back To Bedlam'.

Polaris seeks freedom in the night,
Remember, fun stories from summer seasons,
Together, barefoot in the shallow streams,
Faraway, brothers, barefoot on desert sands,
Evening stars gave birth to a life.

Fire, fire in the distant nebula,
Polaris was born.

Tiny steps, he drifted floating free,
in the fields, they stood gazing,
Polaris rising over the horizon.

Lonely star in the valleys of God,
Drifting, orbiting in strange gravity,
Sand dunes sparkle under the night sky,
A painting of the mighty Polaris.

A requiem written in space,
A song by your friends,
At the funeral you vanished,
Liberated at night by Polaris,
True friends, we never die.

Cold winters and distant fires,
An imagination and a lifetime,
Hold my hand and yours, we fly,
to the faraway Polaris in the sky.
